Incidentally, their latest album Fables of a Mayfly: What I Tell You 3 Times is True was released by Serjical Strike, and Serj Tankian has been actively involved in the band's promotion, including touring the USA with them. It definitely belongs to my top 10 album list for 2007, which I haven't actually composed yet. 2007 was rife with great music, so it won't be easy.
I can't even begin to tell what they sound like, justifying myself with William Wordsworth's quote 'We murder to dissect'. In short, Fair to Midland is a band with high emotional impact for me, a curious mixture of complexity and accessibility. Incredibly, I found the lyrics beautiful and moving, too.
