Let Us Now Praise Famous Men

As usual, not necessarily male.

There are people whose very presence in the world provoke the 'wishful thinking', aka 'hope' that eternity and heaven exist, because you want to know them infinitely. Meaning both infinitely well, and for infinity.

Such people open new vistas for your vision, and force you to look behind your own (blue) eyes. Their inner complexity modifies the patterns of your inner complexity in ways that wouldn't have been possible otherwise. Knowing them you learn things about yourself because they ask the right questions, at the right time. In a rare moment, you feel this relationship is reciprocal. But it need not be.

The connection between you is like the electromagnetic force pulling together the subatomic particles. Which means, you are differently charged. And yet, there is something in their view of the universe, their longing for order and understanding, their search for truth, wisdom, laughter, and beauty that resonates with yours. And you know that without them, not only the world, but you yourself would be smaller.

This is my utopia, too. Being both humbled and in fireworks:)
Awaiting eternity,
