I took another assignment, with deadline Monday. I ain't no good at keeping promises, even promises for five consecutive days without work. Which doesn't make me feel good about myself.
In other news, I took the kids to the theater today. The show 'Chimney Stories' had four or five tales, nice music, and kids were happy. I was so bored I thought I'd die:D And no, it doesn't make me feel good about myself.
In yet other news, the VHS (R.I.P, VHS:) player had been broken for a few weeks, so today I went and bought a DVD player. Of course it didn't fit with my old TV set, so I went out again and bought a new TV. I don't watch TV (the old one was only used for children movies), and I don't even have cable, but kids went mad with joy and watched the new adventures of Zoro. I wish I had spent the same amount on a new monitor. Which doesn't make me feel good about myself.
For those who don't know me, I'm 1.60 m and weigh 48 kg. The TV was probably 25 kg, and I carried it from the car to my apartment, and left the kids in the car. It was so heavy I thought I'd die. Why did I do it, there's nothing to prove to anyone? This didn't make me feel good about myself either.
Shopping has never been therapeutic for me, with very few exceptions, usually when I buy something for my home. Remember the refrigerator?:) In this case, I went against my conviction that life without TV is better quality than life with TV. With today's purchase, I feel my life has become smaller.
Or maybe it's me who's become larger. Than life.

rarely do i see such a pleasurable reading. although the mood is a bit down and heavy on the self side the style is flawless, thus making it a perfect piece of semi self documentary feature. way to go!:)

Ну не поддается *мне* электронная техника тоже;) Не е истина с какъв зор чета на руски... язък, че съм от старото поколение.
Старият телевизор беше много стар и малък и дори *естестически* не пасваше на DVD;) Така по-добре ли е?:)
